Off the Grid Tours Fiji offers an authentic and immersive experience of traditional Fijian life for its guests. Rather than staged performances, tourists engaged directly with Fijian culture, including traditional cooking and exploration of Malevu village. Upon pickup from their hotels, guests are welcomed by a village guide and taken on a tour of the village, concluding with refreshing fresh lemon juice. Weaving classes follow the village tour, during which the guide discusses the significance of coconut trees and demonstrates coconut scraping and husking, inviting guests to participate. After the lessons, guests enjoy a home-cooked Fijian lunch before optional activities like snorkeling and reef walking, depending on the tide. Finally, guests change into dry clothes and await their drop-off.
Rate Inclusions
The tour package comprises transportation to and from the village, entrance fees, a guided tour of the village, visits to village handicrafts, lessons in basket weaving, fan and hat making, opportunities for snorkeling (subject to tide conditions), reef walking, and a delicious lunch featuring local Fijian cuisine.
